  1. Perhaps it is because I was raised in suburbia, or perhaps the midwest U.S., or Protestant, or just blind, but I just realized that I have never seen a church with an attached cemetery.

  2. This is like those kids that are die hard NBA fans, and out of all that basketball has to offer, the only thing they take away from it is how pretty the shoes are.

  3. Another part of the 40s was fixating on progress. Progress in regards to the latest technology, the latest ideologies, the latest philosophy, forward thinking efforts, and sacrificing (sometimes making the ultimate sacrifice) things that you hold near and dear to your personal heart so that future generations don't have to worry about one set of problems and can start working on the next set. The 40s was a time of EXTREME adaptation for homo sapiens. This homo sapien is doing the exact opposite for the sake of tickling his limbic system.
